Yesterday afternoon was a great day for watching my backyard birds. I sat and watched the hummers zip in and out and the adult male chasing off pretenders to his throne… A few shots from the afternoon’s watching:

Steller’s Jay – A study

3 hours of sitting still paid off. The Steller’s Jays are starting to almost come closer than MFD… Still working on feeding by hand… They aren’t THAT comfortable with me yet.
