Ngorongoro Crater – Tanzania

While down in the Ngorongoro Crater (misnamed – should really be a caldera) we were treated to some pretty spectacular scenery.  It was like sitting in the bottom of a giant flat bottomed bowl.   The rim of the crater is at 2400m and the bottom is 500m lower  Odd feeling.

Here’s one pano I shot while there – the clouds were pouring over the edges:
